GREAT BOAT !The Boston Whaler 17 Outrage supplies versatility, durability and performance. Its Accutrack deep-V hull design is amenable to either bay boating or offshore operation. The pilot seat back locks in place to function as a bench seat and - with the seat back locked forward - a leaning post and aft-facing lounge. The seat bottom lifts for easy cooler access. The rear quarter seats provide additional storage and the portside seat is plumbed for a livewell. In 1996, Boston Whaler introduced the Accutrack hull. This system combines the smooth ride of a deep-V design with the dry ride provided by strategically placed chines. A Boston Whaler has a distinct style. The distinctive Whaler 'smirk' - a reverse chine and forward spray rail - catches spray and redirects it beneath the hull. In a following sea, it pushes the bow up for better steerage and improved safety.
